Sihja is a somewhat impudent but charming fairy. She has just moved to the city where she meets the eleven-year-old Alfred. The new friends enjoy exploring the town and cause chaos with Sihja’s uncontrolled fairy powers. Then dead birds start appearing on the streets. At first it looks like the smelly fertilizer factory and its creepy CEO might be responsible. Alfred and Sihja must find out what is threatening nature. During their investigation, Sihja learns how to use her superpowers, while Alfred finds the confidence to stand up for himself.

Biography
Marja Pyykkö studied film directing at the Finnish Film School. She directed the award-winning TV series BLACK WIDOWS (2014–2016). Her film debut SISKO TAHTOISIN JÄÄDÄ! won several international awards, as did the feature film YÖSYÖTTÖ.
