Giovanni and Michele roam bet­ween high­way inter­sec­tions and the har­bor on the out­skirts of a drea­ry city. Fascinated, they obser­ve a scratch-off, later they get hold of a lot­tery ticket. The lot­tery ticket pro­mi­ses a way out of their fathers’ life as day labo­rers. (SiS)
